New Patients - Encinitas, CA
Welcome to the website for Dr. Bita Farhoumand. We hope that the information here is educational and helpful. If you’d like to discuss your needs with Dr. Bita, don’t hesitate to contact her.
Your First Visit with Dr. Bita
In most cases, your initial consultation with Dr. Bita will be scheduled through your general dentist or your orthodontist. During this first visit, the emphasis will be on getting to know your needs and developing a relationship with you. Great communication between parties is vital for a successful experience.
Dr. Bita will always strive to offer the clearest explanation of your needs and the treatment options available. Likewise, she hopes you feel comfortable enough with her to raise any questions or concerns that are bothering you. The goal is to build your personalized treatment plan together so that, by the time we’re ready to begin your treatment, there are no more questions.
Your exam and consultation will include:
- A complete oral health assessment
- X-rays, periodontal probing, and other related diagnostics
- A discussion of your medical history and your treatment needs
- A question and answer period
- A consultation and discussion with your normal dentist, if necessary
Dr. Bita looks forward to meeting with you and having the opportunity to learn about your needs. Whether she’ll be helping you treat periodontal disease or place dental implants, your smile will be in good hands.
Financial Options
Dr. Bita strives to offer her patients the best possible care at a reasonable price. With that in mind, she’s happy to accept payment with all major credits, as well as personal check, cash, and money orders. She will also work with patients who are using third party financing through CareCredit.
Dental Insurance
We understand how important dental insurance is for many of our patients. If you have a dental plan, Dr. Bita or your referring dentist will happily file a claim with your provider to help you maximize your benefits. Because coverage varies from plan to plan, we advise contacting your provider or your employer with questions about what treatments may or may not be covered.
